Photography with a Sense of Place

I am a documentary-driven photographer working between Gotland, Sweden and Montiferru, Sardinia—two islands that shape my visual language through their light, silence and deep connection to nature. My work explores the dialogue between people and landscape: interiors that hold stories, portraits rooted in identity, rural traditions, craftsmanship, and the understated poetry of everyday life.

After completing my professional training at Hemse Photo School on Gotland, I worked with interior design photographer Ingalill Snitt and the creative agency OSS. Since 2005, I have worked as a full-time freelance photographer, collaborating with artists, designers, cultural institutions, publishers and private clients. My images have appeared in books, exhibitions and editorial projects, and I continue to develop long-term series on rural culture, heritage and the changing Mediterranean landscape.

What sets my work apart is the combination of Nordic clarity and Mediterranean warmth, shaped by a life lived between two worlds. I approach every assignment with the sensitivity of a storyteller and the precision of a visual craftsperson—seeking not just to document, but to reveal character, atmosphere and emotion.

I offer photography services in:

Documentary & reportage
Portraits and editorial work
Interiors, architecture & design
Craftsmanship, food culture & rural heritage
Landscape and nature projects

Assignments can be carried out in Sweden, Italy or internationally. I maintain studios in Gotland and Cuglieri (Sardinia), and I am available for both commissioned work and collaborative artistic projects.

If you are looking for imagery with authenticity, depth and a strong sense of place, I would be happy to discuss your project.
