Venice -the city of stillness

Venice -the city of stillness

Today I share with you some photos of my favorite town in Italy, Venice. I spent some months there directly after finishing high school when I was 19. And then another period before my Sardinian life started.

What is it that I like so much about Venice?

First, it’s the inhabitants! I have some really lovely friends there. There are living more than 260.000 persons in Venice, plus all the tourists, yet the feeling is that you live in a small town where everyone knows each other. Living in Venice you also learn how and where to move to avoid the tourists.

The other thing I love is the Stillness. No town can be so quiet as Venice the night. No traffic rumor, only the calm sound of water moving…

Please enjoy some stillness in these worrying times.
