Hi, I’m Helga. Welcome to my corner of the web.
Here you’ll find the two worlds I work in: guiding hikers through the hidden landscapes of Sardinia, and documenting life through my lens as a photographer.

Explore About to learn more about my story,
Blog for field notes and updates,
Hiking Guide for my organized excursions,
and Photographer for my portfolio and visual work.

No fuss—just nature, images, and the places that connect them.

Bergman -The man who liked isolation...

Bergman -The man who liked isolation...

After two weeks at home in national quarantine, it starts to feel normal not to see any other faces than those of Gian Mauro, Ilena, and Ilaria…. But I dream of going to the sea!
Yesterday I got to think of a very famous man who lived on my other island, Gotland, in Sweden, and who had chosen the place for its solitude. He wanted isolation and not to see anyone. So much that he had a speaker system that asked you to leave the permit when you got to close to the house!
I’m talking of the filmmaker Ingmar Bergman.
His house still exists untouched, available for culture makers via a scholarship. Some years ago I had the opportunity to photograph this special place, Hammars, Fårö.
